Prior to our spicy chicken tender meals, I had spent half the day photographing Edie Cheezburger, a glamorous scarlet-haired beauty who regularly performs with the Armorettes. We worked up quite the appetite shooting in a variety of locations across town, including an abandoned school, a cemetery and a shop in the West Midtown Design District. It was a perfectly fabulous day. And I couldn’t be happier to kick off my new yet-to-be titled drag queen series with a such a wonderful new friend.

I just love these lifeless human replicas. Maybe it’s because they don’t blink. I’m not sure.
