Mike [Head Shot]

Mike Brune is a comedic genius. Anyone who has ever met him will tell you so. Every word that tumbles out of his mouth is hilarious. He has been a member for years of two of my favorite Jackpie improv teams—Einstein Meets Elvis and Babies mit Bearden. He also is a founder of Fake Wood Wallpaper Films, which produced the indie film Blood Car, which starred Mike. It’s a ridiculously fun movie, and Mike is awesome in it. Unfortunately for Atlanta, Mike is taking his awesomeness to Chicago. I suppose everyone moves on now and then, and Mike is no exception. He will certainly be missed by Atlanta’s improv community. Atlanta will be a little less funny now. Good luck, Mike! And special thanks to my gal pal Gina Rickicki for the man make-up!

I love these last two pictures of Mike. He wanted a few character head shots.

Lol he looked like so much fun to shoot. Great work! Keep it up!

Gina [Head Shot]

I can’t truly express how much I adore my dear friend Gina Rickicki in a blog post. But I’ll try anyway. We started working together in June 2008 on a photo project we titled Vicious Lovely. Gina makes our clients all glamorous with make-up and hair, and I shoot the pictures. Gina always makes the clients feel comfortable, and she showers them with genuine compliments. She brags about their assets and features, but sometimes I wonder if Gina realizes how stunning she is herself. She emailed me the other day because she desperately needed head shots for an upcoming audition. So we shot these pictures in about 30 minutes. When I was editing them, I felt like I was working on pictures for a Cover Girl ad rather than actor head shots. Gina is so beautiful! And she’s an amazing human being. I just adore her, and I love that she’s my partner in making people feel filthy gorgeous.

I love this last picture of Gina. We had a little help from the wind. It feels very Cover Girl!

Erin [Head Shot]

I met Erin at Dad’s Garage Theatre Company. She was performing in Dad’s original play “Song of the Living Dead“—one of my favorite musicals of all time—and I was working the box office. She was cute as pie, and I liked her immediately. She’s perky, petite and pretty, and she’s simply precious.
